"I'd never heard of Scott Fowler prior to my friend, David, suggesting I join him at a workshop that Scott runs at the Otematata Sheep Station in central New Zealand.  I'm very glad I took him up on the offer.  Scott is an award-winning New Zealand photographer that offers workshop attendees a unique shooting experience at a working sheep station.  He does a variety of workshops that include B&W, portrait, creative and winter opportunities.  His skills at teaching and guiding both experienced and beginning photographers makes the workshop beneficial to everyone.  I would welcome the chance to attend another of Scott's workshops if I were to return to New Zealand from my home in the United States."

"I recently spent 4 days up in the mountains above Otematata Station with Scott and 5 other pioneers. I have spent a lot of time photographing in the Maniototo, and to travel on the top of the Hawkdun Range was mind blowing. Just so beautiful and barren with no hint of human habitation. We could see southwards down the Maniototo, and westwards through to Lakes Tekapo and Ohau. Scott is an amazing trip leader/tutor/safety officer/yarn spinner. If you enjoy the rugged landscape, and roughing it in a High country hut, I can thoroughly recommend the trip." Karen Talbot. LNPSNZ

Im just back from a wonderful Photography workshop with Scott Fowler. After arriving at Otematata we were double lucky as there was crutching to photograph. Everyone was straight into action. Early the next day we left for our high Country adventure stopping at the Glenbouie Hut. Loads of fun an creative lighting session early in the morning. Early next morning we started of trucks all loaded with the requisite photography gear and the GoPro going to record it. Wow is all I can say we were all totally amazed The views and scenery were to die for. The wind didnt put anyone of I just sat on my hat for a while. I could hardly visualize that I would make it to nearly 2000 meters above sea level with a fantastic view of the Maniototo. Everyone was busy clicking away. The on the way back we went via the Forks Hut where we had lunch and then onto the other hut and a wonderful afternoon and the backyards.- Anne Lambe

It was my pleasure to be a participant on Scott Fowlers High Country Photography Adventure in March 2015.
Scott is very generous with both his time and extensive knowledge. I get a picture of the "energiser bunny" when I think about the passion and energy that Scott put in to ensure we all got as much as possible out of the workshop.
Our 4wd adventure meant we got to be in huge, absolutely stunning landscapes every day. Unique high country and there is no one else there but your group!
I loved it. I’d go again, no question.
